OFFICIAL RULES — SOCIAL DISPENSARY GOLDEN TICKET PROMOTION
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
1. SPONSOR. This promotion (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by Social Dispensary (“Sponsor”), with its principal office located at 4405 Chambers Rd, Denver, CO 80239.
2. ELIGIBILITY. Open only to legal residents of the State of Colorado who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, owners, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members of each are not eligible. Participation is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) rules. Void where prohibited.
3. PROMOTION PERIOD. The Promotion is an ongoing, rolling program with no fixed end date. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time, with or without notice. The Promotion runs only while supplies of Golden Tickets last at participating locations.
4. PARTICIPATING LOCATIONS. The Promotion is offered at all participating Social Dispensary retail locations in the State of Colorado. A current list of participating locations is available at thesocialcannabis.com/locations.
5. HOW TO PARTICIPATE — TWO METHODS.
(a) Purchase Method. Customers who purchase eligible products at a participating Social Dispensary Colorado location during the Promotion Period may discover a “Golden Ticket” inside or affixed to the product packaging. A Golden Ticket entitles the holder to claim the prize described on the ticket, subject to these Official Rules.
(b) Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) — No Purchase Necessary. To enter without a purchase, submit a handwritten essay of 150–300 words on the topic “The History of Cannabis in Colorado.” Each submission must include:
- the entrant’s full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number; and
- a photocopy of a valid government-issued photo ID showing the entrant is at least 21 years of age.

Limit one (1) AMOE entry per person per week (Sunday–Saturday). Additional entries received in the same week are void. The AMOE is free aside from standard postage. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, delayed, illegible, postage-due, misdirected, or undelivered mail. Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, or bulk-mailed essay submissions are void.
Each valid AMOE entry will be entered into a random weekly drawing for a Golden Ticket equivalent to one drawn from the in-store prize pool. AMOE participants have the same odds of receiving any given prize tier as in-store participants on a per-entry basis.
6. PRIZES. Golden Tickets are instant-win. The prize is printed on or otherwise specified by the ticket itself. Prizes consist of concert tickets and/or Ticketmaster gift cards redeemable toward concert tickets, in varying denominations as specified on each Golden Ticket. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of individual prizes ranges from $25 to $500 depending on tier. Total ARV of all prizes available across the Promotion will be disclosed upon written request to Sponsor.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, and non-redeemable for cash. No substitutions are permitted except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Concert tickets are subject to availability and to the terms and conditions of the issuing venue, promoter, and Ticketmaster. Winners are solely responsible for all taxes, fees, transportation, lodging, and other costs associated with prize acceptance and use.
7. CLAIMING A PRIZE. A Golden Ticket must be redeemed in person at a participating Social Dispensary Colorado location. Winners must: (a) present a valid, unaltered Golden Ticket; (b) present government-issued photo identification verifying the winner is at least 21 years of age; and (c) sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where lawful) Publicity Release within thirty (30) days of redemption. Failure to claim a prize within ninety (90) days of receipt, or failure to comply with these Official Rules, will result in forfeiture. Golden Tickets that are damaged, altered, tampered with, counterfeit, illegible, photocopied, or obtained other than through legitimate participation are void.
8. ODDS. Odds of receiving any given Golden Ticket depend on the number of eligible products distributed and the number of AMOE entries received. Not every product or AMOE entry will yield a Golden Ticket.
9. OPT-IN TO COMMUNICATIONS. By claiming a prize, winners consent to enrollment in Sponsor’s marketing communications list and agree to receive promotional messages via text message, telephone calls (including through automated dialing systems or prerecorded voice), email, and other channels. Winners authorize Sponsor and its technology provider, Alpine IQ, Inc., to retain contact and engagement data for personalized marketing. Winners may opt out of text messages at any time by replying “STOP.” Standard message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing communications is not a condition of receiving the prize.
10. PRIVACY AND PUBLICITY. Except where prohibited by law, by claiming a prize the winner grants Sponsor the right to use the winner’s name, city of residence, photograph, voice, and likeness for advertising, promotional, and trade purposes in any media, without further notice, review, approval, or compensation. Personal information collected in connection with the Promotion will be handled in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://thesocialcannabis.com/privacy-policy/.
11. CONDUCT AND DISQUALIFICATION. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion, acting in violation of these Official Rules, or acting in bad faith. Any attempt to deliberately damage, alter, or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil law, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. By participating, each participant releases Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, injuries, losses, damages, or liability arising from or in connection with participation in the Promotion, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, or attendance at any concert or event for which a prize is redeemed. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, illegible, misdirected, or incomplete entries; technical or human error in the administration of the Promotion; or any act or omission of any third party, including Ticketmaster, concert venues, or promoters.
13. CANNABIS COMPLIANCE. Golden Tickets, AMOE prize awards, and all related Promotion communications are not — and shall not be construed as — an inducement to purchase regulated marijuana products. Prizes do not consist of regulated marijuana, marijuana products, or anything of value redeemable for regulated marijuana. AMOE participants and in-store participants are eligible for the same prize pool and odds. Nothing in this Promotion is intended to violate Colorado MED rules, and any provision construed to do so shall be reformed to comply or severed.
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to any choice-of-law rules. Participants agree to resolve any dispute individually, and waive any right to participate in a class action.
15. MISCELLANEOUS. If any provision of these Official Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
